Our “visit”
to Napa Valley was a great success!
As part of the National Tasting Project, our chapter tasted the six Napa
Valley wines listed below. We scored
each wine, and those scores will be tallied by the National Tasting Project
committee and combined with scores from all of the other American Wine Society
chapters across the country.
The wines were complimented with a variety of foods. Our Board members provided sourdough bread, a
selection of cheeses, olives, vegetables, nuts and fruit. Thanks to Kevin and Bob Dering for arranging
the delivery of the wines that we enjoyed.
Our next tasting in April will feature Lesser Known Grapes, and our
presenters will be Joe and Ruth Barsotti.
It will be a fantastic event, so don’t miss it!
