The Results!

Please enjoy the gallery of glass that your fellow AWS Members created.  Our special thanks to Melissa Tai for being informative, helpful, and most of all, patient as we enjoyed an evening of glass painting.  Please click on the Links tab and scroll down to find the link to Melissa's site.  You will enoy it!

Below are the "Masterpieces" that we created!  The instructions for curing the glasses are below the photographs.  Please read them!

To My Fellow Artists:

Q: How do I cure painted glass or ceramics when using FolkArt Multi-Surface Satin Acrylic Paint?
A:
There are two types of curing methods that can be used with FolkArt Multi-Surface Satin Acrylic Paint, baking and air drying.
Bake Method: Allow painted item to dry for 1 hour to be sure all layers of paint have dried. Place project in a cool oven. Set oven temperature to 350º F. Once temperature has reached 350ºF, start timing for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, turn the oven off. Glass must heat gradually with the oven to avoid breakage. Do not place glass in a hot oven. Let glass cool completely in oven. Do not use for 72 hours.

Air Dry Method: Air dry project for 21 days before use.
